Welcome Gael, and I have to agree that quilting is a great stress reliever. Glad to have you join our family. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Hello
I'm new to this forum. I originally hail from Spokane WA and now live in Shoreline WA,- Just 20 minutes north of Seattle (as the crow flies not as the traffic flows) I've been looking at some of the groups and discussions. This seems like a lively group of quilters and I want to play too! I have two boys- 21 and 9. Teach Science to 7th graders. Other hobbies are knitting and gardening. I know my "page" is a bit boring but I'll figure out how to get cute pictures on it and spiff it up this summer. bye for now Patti |

Well hello to all. First of all I have my computer to far away to see it good. So I increase my font to this size. Oh' I can see this now. LOL. Now I have been a member of this forum for a few years now. But with life's ups and downs I have not had much time to read it nor answer questions or just plan post something. So here goes.I am Juju, I meet my husband 23years ago. We been married 18 of those years and we have no children. Just one little dog. Chico. Yes he is spoiled. I watched my aunt Lucy quilt for many many years. Her eye sight was so bad she could not see to thread a needle. So she would call me from next door to thread a bunch of needles for her. I guess something must have stuck in my head from watching her. Then came the day I watch Alex Anderson on Home and Garden TV. . O! was I ever hooked. I have been quilting for I guess 10-15 years now. I have a mid arm quilter. I have not had time though to do much quilting here of late. First I had my mother in law staying with us. She was very ill. And 89 years old. Well I got her well and she up and left us. I did think I got some time to make and quilt a quilt now. NO! Hubby's back went out. Now I will have to wait and see what will happen. Any way I do love to quilt. Don't you? Well of course you do or you would not be here.

Welcome Juju, I hope you can get some quilting in real soon. Welcome to our "quilting family". I hope you enjoy the MB as much as I do. I haven't had much time lately to post much but I try to check it every day. Hope your husband's back gets better soon. Looking forward to seeing you on the MB more.
