Default Lay out instructions

Ok everyone i am going to give you the lay out instructions for this and i am so sorry i havent had time to finish this yet. You may have to do a little bit of math to make this work. but here we go

take all of your 6in star blocks that you have added the border too. take one of each and sew them together

Now measure your center carpenters wheel.and then measure your two blocks you just sewn together if they are the same sew on to each end of the center block. (if not you will have to add alittle to each end of these two blocks to make them the same as the center.) And do the same with the other two sets of 6inch blocks and after you have these two the same as the ones you just added to the center block now you add the 9inch stars to the ends of these last two sides and sew them to the center block.

Now that you have this part done now you move on to the 12 inch star blocks. Measure you quilt so far and this will tell you how long to make your next strips that will go between the 12 inch star blocks.

once you have your measurement for the lenght cut three strips of fabric 4.5 inches wide by the length you just measured you quilt top to be. and sew the three strips together for all 4 sides. and once you have that done sew two of these to opposite ends of the quilt and then with the remaining two side sections sew one 12 inch star to either end and stitch these to the quilt.

now you can stop here or you can add a 6inch border to that.
Now you can quilt it as you want.

I hope everyone likes this quilt and i am so sorry it took me so long to finish this up and i am sorry i didnt get the math done on it but life has been sooo busy and i just dont have time to sit and just work on this. i never expected for life to get in the way when i started this project last year. and again i am sorry

Good luck all

Have a great day

Hugs
cindy
